Hosted by Grammy winner Tyla and co-hosted later in the evening by rapper Ice Spice, the 38th annual event celebrated fan favorites across television, film, music, and more, all while delivering the signature chaotic fun the KCAs are known for.
Orange Carpet Style: From Chic to Cartoon-Core

Both Tyla and Ice Spice got doused in the famous green substance. They were joined by other brave (or perhaps unsuspecting) celebrities who faced the slime cascade, including Jack Black, who got slimed after accepting his special “King of Comedy” award, rapper mgk (Machine Gun Kelly) after his performance, and girl group KATSEYE following their energetic set. Reports even dished on the rumored composition of the slime – a surprisingly palatable mix of vanilla pudding, applesauce, oatmeal, and green food coloring!

Dwayne Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho won for their voice roles in Moana 2, while Jack Black also took home Favorite Movie Actor for A Minecraft Movie.
Musical performances included high-energy sets from mgk and KATSEYE. The show also featured a special skateboarding demonstration by legendary pro Tony Hawk and rising star Katelyn West.
