Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed that acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve, known for his visually stunning work on films like “Dune,” will helm the upcoming 007 adventure.
This announcement marks a significant step forward for the franchise, particularly as it’s the first Bond film to move into production under the creative oversight of Amazon MGM Studios. This comes after the studio solidified a joint venture with Eon Productions, the long-time producers of the 007 series, led by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Alongside Villeneuve, the production team includes Tanya Lapointe as executive producer, with veteran producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman also attached.
