Devastating Injury Hits Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers have released a medical update concerning star guard Tyrese Haliburton following an injury sustained during the NBA Finals.
Haliburton Diagnosed with Torn Achilles
During the first quarter of the NBA Finals game against Oklahoma City last night, Tyrese Haliburton suffered an injury to his right Achilles tendon. An MRI conducted on Monday has unfortunately confirmed that Haliburton has a torn right Achilles tendon.
Surgery Scheduled
The team announced that surgery for Haliburton’s torn Achilles is scheduled for later today. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Martin O’Malley at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
