The husband of late Real Housewives executive Lauren Miller has shared a poignant update on their newborn son, Jackson, following Lauren’s tragic death shortly after childbirth.
Lauren, who served as an executive for Shed Media, the production company behind several Bravo hits including The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 9. She is survived by her husband, Kevin, their 3-year-old daughter, Emma, and baby Jackson.
Baby Jackson Returns Home
In an update shared on Thursday, June 12, via a GoFundMe campaign established to support the family, Lauren’s husband, Kevin Miller, confirmed that their infant son had been discharged from the hospital.
“Kevin is delighted to share that baby Jackson is out of the NICU and at home with his dad and sister,” the update read. “He has been an angel and has eaten and slept like a champ. He is so alert and attentive already at just 4 days old.”
The GoFundMe, organized by Lauren’s colleague Sherri Pender, has seen an overwhelming wave of support, with donations pouring in to assist Kevin as he navigates life as a single parent to two young children. The response has reportedly “blown away” Lauren’s coworkers, quickly surpassing initial fundraising goals.
Pender added in the update that Kevin has been “so deeply touched by everyone’s generosity and kindness” during this incredibly difficult time. Support extends beyond financial aid, with a charity offering baby formula, diapers, and connections to support groups for families experiencing maternal loss reaching out to offer assistance.
Heartfelt Tributes and Condolences
Kevin Miller broke his silence on Lauren’s death in an emotional comment on an Instagram post from Shed Media announcing her passing.
“Lauren is the love of my life, and I was blessed by God that she chose to spend her life with me and give me two beautiful children to remember her every minute of every day,” Kevin wrote on Friday, June 13. “Please pray for our family and thank you all for the prayers, kind words and thoughts. God bless.”
Shed Media’s tribute highlighted that being a mother was among Lauren’s greatest joys and that ensuring her children were cared for was paramount to her. Colleagues like Sherri Pender described the loss as “unimaginable,” remembering Lauren for her “warm smile, kind heart and thoughtful, intuitive nature,” noting the devastating irony that tragedy struck the day she welcomed her second child.
Several stars from the Real Housewives franchise, including Tamra Judge, Heather Gay, and Sai de Silva, have also publicly offered their condolences and prayers for Lauren’s family.
At this time, the specific cause of Lauren Miller’s death has not been publicly shared. The focus remains on supporting Kevin and his two young children as they mourn the profound loss of Lauren.
