PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this July with a strong lineup of Monthly Games headlined by a major AAA title. Starting July 1st, members across all tiers – Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe – can add Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant to their game libraries. These titles will be available to claim until August 4th, offering a diverse selection ranging from dark fantasy action RPG to competitive fighting and a unique climbing adventure.
This announcement arrives as PlayStation Plus marks a significant milestone: its 15th anniversary, having originally launched on June 29, 2010. Sony is celebrating this occasion with a series of special activities throughout the summer, kicking off this week.
Headliner Game: Diablo IV (PS5, PS4)
Leading the charge for July is Blizzard’s critically acclaimed action RPG, Diablo IV. Released in 2023, this title plunges players into the dark world of Sanctuary to battle the forces of Lilith. Available for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, the Standard Edition offered through PS Plus provides access to the game’s expansive open world, gripping story campaign (playable solo or in co-op), procedurally generated dungeons, and deep endgame content. Players can choose from six distinct character classes and master endless combat, ability customization, and loot hunting. Its inclusion comes ahead of a planned major update for the game, which will expand endgame dungeons and introduce keyboard and mouse support on consoles.
Featured Fighter: The King of Fighters XV (PS5, PS4)
For fighting game enthusiasts, The King of Fighters XV joins the monthly lineup. Developed by SNK and released in 2022, this latest entry in the long-running KOF series features the traditional and highly competitive 3-on-3 team battle system. With a robust roster of 39 fighters and the implementation of rollback netcode for smoother online matches, it remains a relevant title in the esports scene, even featuring in upcoming tournaments like the SNK World Championship 2025. PS Plus members claiming the game will also receive the “Classic Leona” DLC costume, offering a nostalgic look for the character.
Unique Indie Experience: Jusant (PS5)
Rounding out the July offerings is Jusant from Don’t Nod. This unique PS5-only action-puzzle game centers entirely around the meditative and challenging mechanic of climbing. Players will ascend a colossal tower, managing their stamina and climbing tools while navigating diverse biomes and branching paths. As you climb higher, you’ll uncover the long-lost secrets of a mysterious ancient civilization that once inhabited the structure, blending engaging gameplay with a compelling narrative and exploration.

Remember to claim the June 2025 Monthly Games — NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark (2024), Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape — before they leave the service on July 1st. Once claimed, the July games remain yours to play as long as your PlayStation Plus membership is active.
