Sanctuary Calls: Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 11 Has Launched!
Attention, adventurers! The time has come once again to face the hordes of the Burning Hells with a fresh start. Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 11 is officially live, beckoning players back to Sanctuary for a new competitive race to glory.
Ladder Seasons are a cornerstone of the Diablo II: Resurrected experience, offering players the opportunity to begin anew with a Level 1 character and push their skills to the limit. It’s a thrilling sprint where dedicated heroes compete to be the first to reach the prestigious Level 99 and cement their names on the global Leaderboards, all while discovering powerful loot in a fresh economy. Season 11 continues this tradition, providing a revitalized challenge for veterans and newcomers alike.
Ladder Season 11 Global Launch Times
Ladder Season 11 kicked off across the globe on June 20th and 21st, depending on your region:
North America: June 20, 5:00 p.m. PDT
Europe: June 21, 2:00 a.m. CEST
Asia: June 21, 9:00 a.m. KST
Choose Your Path: The Four Ladder Modes
Just as in previous seasons since ladder play was introduced with Patch 2.4, Season 11 supports four distinct modes to match different player preferences and desired challenges:
Pre-Expansion Ladder: Standard competitive play limited to the original four acts of Diablo II.
Pre-Expansion Hardcore Ladder: The ultimate challenge with only one life, restricted to the original four acts.
Ladder: Standard competitive play encompassing all five acts, including content from the Lord of Destruction expansion.
Hardcore Ladder: The one-life-only challenge spanning all five acts and the Lord of Destruction* expansion.
Whether you prefer the classic experience or the expanded content, softcore or the intense pressure of hardcore, there’s a Ladder mode waiting for you.
Managing Your Legacy: Shared Stash Item Migration
With the conclusion of Ladder Season 10, your Ladder characters from that season have transitioned into non-ladder characters. A crucial part of the seasonal rollover is the handling of your Shared Stash items.
All items stored in your Ladder Shared Stash from Season 10 have been automatically moved into special “Withdraw Only” tabs within your non-ladder Shared Stash. These tabs are clearly marked to indicate their status.
It is critically important to understand the item expiration process associated with these tabs. With the launch of Ladder Season 11, any items that were still residing in the “Withdraw Only” tabs from Ladder Season 9 (items from two seasons prior) have now been permanently removed and lost.
You now have the entire duration of Ladder Season 11 to access and retrieve any items you wish to keep from the “Withdraw Only” tabs containing your Season 10 Shared Stash items. When Ladder Season 11 eventually concludes, these Season 10 “Withdraw Only” tabs will be overwritten by the contents of your Ladder Season 11 Shared Stash. Any Season 10 items not retrieved before that point will be permanently lost. Make sure to transfer any desired items from your Season 10 withdraw tabs before the end of Season 11!
Why Jump into Ladder Season 11?
Participating in a Ladder season offers more than just a chance at the leaderboard. It provides a vibrant, fresh economy where everyone starts equally. It’s also how many players experience the latest additions and refinements to Diablo II: Resurrected. Ladder play lets you dive into this constantly evolving classic with the full competitive experience.
The race has begun. Good luck in Sanctuary, adventurer, and may your journey in Ladder Season 11 be filled with thrilling battles and legendary drops!
